Contraindications

Potential Drug Interactions

Concomitant use of Voltaren with other NSAIDs, anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulceration. Interaction with diuretics or antihypertensive drugs may reduce their effectiveness.

Adverse Effects

Overdose Management

Breastfeeding Implications

Elderly Population

Elderly patients are at an increased risk for developing adverse reactions to NSAIDs, especially gastrointestinal bleeding and renal impairment. Dose adjustments and close monitoring may be necessary.
